They say digital will - should - replace traditional photography.

Perhaps digital does (or will) make a better image than traditional photography, but this forgets the physical component of making a print; the chemicals, the darkness, the solitude, the peace is not so easily replaced by a computer lab. The traditional procedure of making a print is lost in the digital, and with it goes peace that can only be found in the analog world.
